Sweet Dry Snow Princess
The next special dry cake for Eid is snow white cake. The use of this name is of course none other than because this cake is coated with a sprinkling of sweet powdered sugar that resembles snow. For the texture itself, this cake is similar to a cheese cake but softer. The taste actually tends to be savory, but not as savory as a cheese cake.
Sweet Dry Chocolate
Who doesn’t like the sweetness of chocolate? As the name implies, this sweet treat uses additional chocolate in the dough. While it is not as popular as the previous cakes, this cake is no less popular, you know. Generally, this chocolate dry cake is also given a topping in the form of dark chocolate or colorful chocolate.
Kaasstengels or Kastengel
Another popular sweet for Eid is the dry cheese cake or kastengel. This sweet usually uses edam cheese or cheddar cheese. The texture is also more crispy with a sprinkling of grated cheese on top. The distinctive salty savory taste makes Kastengel cakes a mainstay for those of you who don’t like sweet cakes too much.
